Adelaide has reinforced the depth of its AFLW list with five Crows penning contract extensions ahead of the upcoming season.
Defenders Kiera Mueller and Brooke Smith, forwards Lily Tarlinton and Hannah Ewings, and utility Christina Leuzzi have each signed one-year extensions to see them stay at the Club until at least the end of 2026.
Crows Head of AFLW Phil Harper said the players’ extensions were well deserved and reflected their commitment to training and a team-first mentality.
“As the side enters a new era under incoming Coach Ryan Davis, this group adds depth and experience to our playing list, which will help take the team forward this coming season,” he said.
“Each of the players has had a taste of AFLW and we are confident they will continue to show great progress on and off the field.
“As the Club looks to season 2026 and beyond with the aim of continuing to push for sustained success, we are confident these players will help us achieve that.”
Kiera Mueller, 22, now enters her fifth season with the Crows after being drafted with Pick 69 in the 2022 Draft, making her debut in Season 7 and going on to play 36 AFLW games.
A product of the Crows Academy, in 2025 Mueller played Rounds 2 and 3 before breaking back into the team in Round 8 and playing the final seven games of the season across half-back.
Brooke Smith, 21, has played six games for Adelaide since being signed as an injury replacement player ahead of the 2023 season, making her debut in Round 10 of that year.
About to enter her fourth season in Crows colours, the Victorian continues to develop versatility, having worked hard on building her strength and endurance over the past year.
Hannah Ewings, who was the AFLW’s Season 7 Rising Star, played three games for Adelaide in 2025, after being traded from Port Adelaide where she debuted in 2022.
The 21-year-old took the 2024 season away from the sport before returning to the track in the Crows’ tri-colours in 2025 and she continues to make strong progress in her return to AFLW.
Lily Tarlinton has played eight games for the Crows since debuting in 2024, with six of those played last season.
Throughout 2025 the 24-year-old was able to showcase her versatility and 181cm height, playing a role as a key forward and in ruck when required.
Christina Leuzzi, 22, joined the Crows ahead of the 2025 season after being signed as an injury replacement player, and played one game, her debut in the tri-colours in Round 9.
Her contract extension comes after her promising debut against West Coast, where she collected six disposals playing as a defender.
