Emerging Crows midfielder Sid Draper will continue to have his training loads carefully managed due to groin soreness.
The 19-year-old will not play in Friday evening’s intraclub match in Port Augusta.
Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said the Club would continue to take a conservative approach with Draper’s program.
“Sid is only in the early stages of his AFL career and while he is back training with the main group, he is coming in and out of drills within sessions,” McKeown said.
“We anticipate him playing some form of practice game minutes in the next couple of weeks.”
The versatile Mitch Hinge has also been placed on light duties after reporting back soreness.
He will not take part in the intraclub game and will be reassessed next week.
Dan Curtin is making good progress after undergoing knee surgery more than a fortnight ago.
“He’s in a good spot, he’s out of the brace and starting to get back into daily activities,” McKeown said.
“Dan is in a position where we can now start progressive rehab, with a view to getting him back to running.”
The Club anticipates defender Mark Keane being sidelined for up to four months following surgery to repair a fractured leg.
