Adelaide’s preparations for the upcoming AFL season continues with an internal trial at Central Oval, Port Augusta, this Friday afternoon.

The match will close out the Crows’ community camp, where players spent two days in the Upper Spencer Gulf visiting local schools and helping deliver the Club’s STEM Footy program.

Players will be split into two teams for the internal trial, which will be played across four 20-minute quarters, with coaches managing game time and scores as needed.

Executive General Manager of Football Adam Kelly said the Club was proud to bring the game to Members and supporters living in regional areas.

He said the internal trial was a chance for the team to sharpen up ahead of the season kicking off next month.

"Whilst the Community Camp is a fantastic opportunity to connect with our regional supporters, the Internal Trial is also an important part of our preparation for the season ahead," Kelly said.

"It’s a valuable opportunity to further test our readiness, not only from a physical or individual point of view, but also to assess how well engrained our game plan at this stage of the season."

The internal trial starts from 4pm and will also be live streamed on the Club’s website and app.

A post-match signing session will follow, allowing fans to grab a selfie and an autograph with players.

Seven SANFL-listed Crows players (see list below), and train-on player Zac Foot, have been named to feature in the internal trial.
