Adelaide has finalised its leaders for 2026 with two new faces joining this year’s leadership group.
The group will again be led by Jordan Dawson who enters his fourth consecutive season as captain and will include two vice captains in the experienced Ben Keays and Alex Neal-Bullen.
Reilly O’Brien and Darcy Fogarty will also return as leaders this year, with Isaac Cumming and Riley Thilthorpe added to the group for the first time.
As part of a thorough and clearly defined process, the leaders were nominated by their teammates in consultation with coaching staff before being endorsed by the Club’s Board and senior management.
Crows Senior Coach Matthew Nicks described the group as an appropriate mix of proven leadership and emerging influence.
“Individually and as a collective, these leaders have set really high standards across the pre-season, and we expect nothing less,” Nicks said.
“As captain, Jordan commands respect and he continues to evolve and find ways to not only improve his own game and leadership style but that of others as well.
“He will get great support from Ben and Alex who are strong, experienced voices who actually live or do, what they say and expect.
“Reilly and Darcy understand the dynamic of this playing group inside‑out and they positively influence others in different ways.
“It’s great to see Isaac and Riley be formally recognised and both have shown they’re more than ready for the responsibility.
“Like the rest of our leaders, they prepare the right way, they put the team first, and they set the tone for how we want to go about our work every day.”
