Adelaide has made one change for its clash against the Western Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.

Izak Rankine returns to the team after missing last weekend’s win against Collingwood due to suspension.

Toby Murray comes out with the Club opting to manage him due to back soreness.

“Toby had some lower back soreness in the days after the Collingwood game and we have made the decision to manage him this week,” Crows Executive General Manager Football Adam Kelly said.

“Ultimately, the six-day turnaround ended up being too tight to have Toby ready to perform at his best tomorrow night.

“It is stating the obvious to say Izak is a welcomed addition because he is a special talent.  This goes beyond his playing talents, as Izak is a great energiser of our team.

“He plays with an exuberance that helps lift everyone around him, and that is both on the field, and in the stands. He is a vitally important member of our team and we are thrilled to have him back.”

Chayce Jones, Reilly O’Brien and James Borlase have been named on the emergency list.

Adelaide’s non-selected players will line-up in the Crows’ final SANFL trial match against South Adelaide at Magain Stadium (Noarlunga Oval) on Saturday, at 2:10pm.

The Crows face the Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval this Friday night at 7.10pm.

The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo.
