Adelaide is expected to welcome back experienced trio Jordan Dawson, Taylor Walker and Rory Laird for Round Four's match against Fremantle on Friday night.

Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said Captain Dawson was managed for last week’s game against Geelong with calf tightness, while veteran forward Walker missed with the Club managing his game loads.

McKeown said Laird is expected to be declared fit after overcoming a minor soleus strain.

“All three will need to complete training this week, but we expect them to be available for selection,” he said.

Defender Mitch Hinge will also be available after successfully rehabbing his back.

As previously reported, Jordon Butts experienced delayed concussion after Thursday night’s game and has been entered into the AFL’s concussion protocols - he will need to be symptom-free for 12 days before being allowed to return to competitive play.

Ruck/forward Toby Murray was on last week’s injury list as an “assess” as he continued to deal with back soreness.

“He unfortunately didn’t get up for Round Three, as a young, developing player we will work with him to ensure he is right before being available to play,” McKeown said.

McKeown said defender Mark Keane continues to progress through his rehab and will return to running in the coming weeks after breaking his leg in pre-season, while Dan Curtin will be back training with the main group this week as he continues his return from surgery after dislocating his kneecap.

“Meanwhile, Cal (hamstring) is in the early stages of his rehab and is progressing well,” he said.
