All Australian defender Rory Laird has been awarded a maximum 10 votes for his 38-disposal outing in the 22-point win over St Kilda.

Laird received five votes each from Crows coach Don Pyke and St Kilda’s interim coach Brett Ratten in a unanimous best-on-ground performance.

He worked tirelessly across half-back to cut-off St Kilda’s offense with 11 intercept possessions, and was again a launchpad for several Adelaide attacks.

Matt Crouch was close behind in the voting with seven after he tallied 35 possessions and two goals.

Taylor Walker was awarded four votes for his four goals against the Saints.

Brodie Smith earned one vote after he collected 23 disposals and a game-high 479 metres gained.
