Adelaide utility Wayne Milera has been included in the AFL’s 22under22 40-man squad for the second time in two years.

Named as a defender, Milera is one of just eight players in the side who have been nominated more than once.

The 21-year-old averages 19.2 disposals at 79.8 per cent efficiency, six marks and three tackles per game across his 14 senior appearances this season.

Milera recorded a season-high 27 disposals in Round 17 against Gold Coast and a career-best 10 tackles against Geelong in Round Four.

In the Round 10 loss to West Coast, he kicked an equal career-best three goals and notched 16 disposals.

And his evasive moves certainly haven’t waned in 2019:

To be eligible for selection, players must be aged 22 years and under for the entirety of the season, including the finals series.

Fans can now visit 22under22.com.au to cast their vote, before the final team is revealed at the AFL Players’ MVP Awards on Thursday, August 29.

Voting closes on Wednesday, August 21.
