Adelaide has confirmed promising rookie Lachlan Murphy will be elevated to the senior list for Season 2020.

Murphy, 20, was drafted to the rookie list from Adelaide’s SANFL development squad with pick No. 38 in the 2018 rookie draft.

He played 21 of 22 possible games in 2019, kicking 19 goals for the season while averaging 3.2 tackles per game as a pressure small forward.

Murphy signed a two-year extension in June, tying him to the Club until at least the end of 2021.

The emerging forward joins former Port Adelaide ruck-forward Billy Frampton as additions to Adelaide’s primary list since the end of the season.

The Crows currently hold selections 4, 23, 28, 37, 45 and 49 at next month’s draft.
