Kuwarna has made two changes for its clash against Hawthorn in Launceston on Thursday night.
Forwards Callum Ah Chee and Riley Thilthorpe return to the line-up after overcoming a hamstring and back injury respectively.
Ah Chee will play his first AFL game since injuring his hamstring in Round Two against the Western Bulldogs, after successfully returning through the SANFL a fortnight ago.
Executive General Manager Football Adam Kelly said Ah Chee’s inclusion would be a boost to the team.
“It is great to have Cal back in the line-up this week,” Kelly said.
“We were very deliberate in wanting to bring in Cal’s experience and leadership to the Club, and its games like this against one of the best sides in the competition, away from home, that his impact will be important.
“That impact is evidenced by Cal’s ability to play his role and do what the team needs.”
Thilthorpe, meanwhile, returns after he missed last week’s 68-point win against the Kangaroos due to a back complaint.
Kelly said the key forward had got through training during the week unscathed, prompting a recall.
“As has been disclosed, Riley has battled with some soreness across the early part of the season,” Kelly said.
“The break last week has had the desired result and Riley has been bouncing around the Club this week.
“He is a real beacon for us ahead of the ball and the team feeds off his presence and energy.”
Wing Isaac Cumming (hamstring) and forward Luke Pedlar (knee soreness) come out of the team due to injuries.
Hugh Bond, Chayce Jones and Nick Murray have been named as the emergencies.
The match against Hawthorn will mark the Club’s second Sir Doug Nicholls Round game of the season, recognising and celebrating indigenous players and culture.
Kuwarna players will hand a boomerang over to the Hawks, crafted by local Indigenous leader Jack Buckskin, thanks to BHP, as part of a special gift exchange.
Kuwarna faces Hawthorn at UTAS Stadium, Launceston, at 7pm (ACST).
Fans can watch the game live on Channel 7 Adelaide, Fox Footy and Kayo.
