Scans have confirmed a moderate calf strain for Kuwarna midfielder Izak Rankine.

The 26-year-old came from the ground in the third quarter against Hawthorn on Thursday night and did not return.

Callum Ah Chee, meanwhile, underwent scans on his hand and has been cleared of a fracture.

The forward left the field in the third quarter but returned to play out the match. 

“Both Cal and Izak will be assessed further at the Club in the coming days,” Kuwarna General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said.

“Following that, we will have a clearer understanding of timelines for both."
