Adelaide defender Mark Keane was rewarded for his standout performance in the Crows’ win against Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, receiving nine AFLCA coaches’ votes.

The match was Keane’s first for 2026 after he successfully navigated a return to footy following a significant lower leg injury sustained in pre-season.

The Irishman was influential, finishing with 22 disposals, 12 pressure acts, 10 marks, nine intercepts, five tackles and three spoils.

His performance also had him ranked the highest player on the ground by Champion Data.

Fellow defender Wayne Milera was awarded four votes for his 27 disposals, six marks, eight pressure acts and a goal.

Midfielder Sam Berry (24 disposals, six marks, seven clearances), collected three votes, while backman James Borlase rounded out the vote-getters for the Crows with two.

Borlase finished the Round 15 match with 15 disposals, eight intercepts, five contested possessions and nine marks.
