Adelaide will travel west to face Fremantle in the opening match of the Club’s 2026 AFLW pre-season fixture.

Announced on Thursday, Adelaide will play four pre-season games - including three match simulations and one official practice match.

Following the trip to Perth on Friday, July 10, Adelaide will host West Coast in a second match simulation at West Lakes on Saturday, July 18.

The Crows will then face St Kilda in an official practice match at Unley Oval on Saturday, July 25, before taking part in one final match simulation against Port Adelaide at West Lakes on Saturday, August 2.

The format, number of players, and game length for all match simulations will be decided by the Clubs.

The practice match, which will be open to the public and free to attend, will be played under official AFLW rules, with squads of 26 to be named, including two emergencies, and 15-minute time limits on each quarter (plus time on).

Adelaide will then kick off its 2026 home-and-away season against Sydney at Unley Oval on Sunday, August 16, at 2.05pm.
