Fogarty leads the way with five-goal return

Darcy Fogarty’s 5.1 was his best return since Round 23 of the 2024 season against the Western Bulldogs. His career best is 5.3 against Carlton in round five of 2023 and his other five-goal game was against West Coast in round 12 of 2019. Fogarty was one of Adelaide’s best on Saturday night, finishing with 16 disposals and four marks. He has kicked 15.10 this season for a career total of 214.96.

Walker reaches Showdown milestone 

Taylor Walker played in his 27th Showdown to be ranked equal with Crows superstar Andrew McLeod and Port’s Kane Cornes. Former Former Power captain Travis Boak holds the record with 33. Walker, who also joined Ben Hart on 311 AFL games for the Crows, missed his two shots on goal from 13 disposals on Saturday night, but has kicked the most Showdown goals overall, with 56. 

Thilthorpe and Berry stand out amid tough team performance

The opposition dominated most of the stats columns but Crows forward Riley Thilthorpe took eight marks, including a game-high four contested marks, and Sam Berry made a game-high 10 tackles for a season total of 115, the most in the competition.

Showdown record remains narrowly in Adelaide’s favour

The overall record after Showdown 60 is now 31-29 in Adelaide’s favour. The Crows had won six of the last seven Showdowns before Saturday night. This was Adelaide’s 30th “away” Showdown, and it has won 12.   

SANFL Crows boost Club success with convincing win

The SANFL Showdown count is also tight. Adelaide won Saturday afternoon’s clash at Adelaide Oval by 52 points, to make it 13 wins from 25 games.
