Adelaide will be eyeing a return to the winners’ list when it faces West Adelaide in the annual Neil Kerley Memorial Match at Richmond Oval on Saturday afternoon.

As the Club announced earlier in the week, AFL-listed forwards Callum Ah Chee and Luke Pedlar will line up in the SANFL for a second consecutive week, in their return from hamstring injuries.

The pair will be joined by fellow AFL-listed players Mitchell Marsh, Archie Ludowyke, Finnbar Maley, Tyler Welsh, Chayce Jones, Charlie Edwards, Hugh Bond, Lachlan Sholl, Indy Cotton, Oscar Ryan, Jordan Butts, Reilly O’Brien and Sid Draper.

SANFL-listed players named in the team include Captain Kieran Strachan, Blake Drury, Tom Bell, Ned Atkinson, Will Crane, Joseph Haines, Hugh Haysman, Andrew McPherson, Jay O’Leary, and Cam Taheny.

This weekend’s match will mark the fourth installment of the special game to honour the late Kerley, following his passing in 2022.

Kerley had a profound impact on both Clubs. He led the Bloods to premierships in 1961 (captain-coach) and 1983 (coach), and played a vital role in the Crows’ inception to the AFL as the inaugural Football Manager.

AFL emergencies will be added to the squad.

Adelaide face West Adelaide at Richmond Oval on Saturday at 2,10pm.

The game will be broadcast live on the SANFL Now App.
