Adelaide forward Darcy Fogarty has been charged by the Match Review Officer following an incident during the Round 19 match against Sydney on Friday night.
Fogarty was cited for striking Sydney’s Harry Cunningham during the second quarter at the SCG, after the Swans defender collected the footy deep in Adelaide’s attack.
The MRO graded the incident as careless conduct, severe impact and high contact, resulting in Fogarty being offered a three-match ban.
The Club has until Monday to decide if it will challenge the MRO’s findings.
