Crows AFLW High Performance Manager Jordan Sellar has provided an injury update ahead of Adelaide’s Round 1 game against Sydney at Unley Oval on Sunday, August 16.

Lucy Waye

The 18-year-old utility sustained a fracture in her hand during match simulation against Port Adelaide on Sunday, August 2. She will continue to train and will be a Test for the following week’s Round 1 match.

Grace Kelly

Grace sustained a minor hamstring injury during the practice match against West Coast on July 18. We will progress her training integration over the next two weeks during which we’ll determine a clearer return to play.

Brooke Smith

Brooke is progressing well with her rehab after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee during a pre-season training session in May. She has been making excellent progress in her strength work, however we are yet to have an accurate timeline on her retuning to running, but it won’t be too far away.

Injury list as of August 4, 2026:

Lucy Waye - Hand (Test)

Grace Kelly - Hamstring (TBC)

Brooke Smith - ACL (season)
