Adelaide three-time Showdown Medallist Sam Jacobs joins current players Nick Murray and Isaac Cumming on this week’s episode of Crows Chat.
Jacobs, who featured in 208 AFL games (17 with Carlton, 184 for the Crows and seven for GWS), revealed the most inspirational player he lined up alongside of, the best assistant coach he had, and whether he’d take Patrick Dangerfield or Mark Ricciuto at their peak.

To play the guitar because I think everyone wants to be able to play the guitar.

Rory Sloane, he’d just do anything for the team.
Best assistant coach you've ever had?
I'd have to say Scott Camporeale and Doc Clarke (Matthew Clarke). I had both of them for 10 years, and they were brilliant.
Your favorite band?
Ed Sheeran.
What's overrated in life?
Dieting.
Peak (Patrick) Dangerfield or Peak (Mark) Ricciuto?
I'd have to go, my boy Danger, I played a lot of footy with him.
What’s an underrated skill in today's game of AFL?
Hitting a target.
Who’s a player you played alongside that wouldn't be able to hack the country lifestyle?
Probably Sloaney (Rory Sloane) again.
