Four new Adelaide recruits will don the Crows’ tri-colours for the first time on Sunday, when the side takes on Sydney at Unley Oval in Round One of the 2026 AFLW season.

Young 18-year-old draftees Chloe Bown and Olivia Gorman, along with 19-year-old injury replacement player Juliet Kelly will play their first AFLW games, while former Richmond midfielder Grace Egan, who joined the Crows in last year’s trade period, will make her Club debut.

Mid-forward Bown, who joined Adelaide via Pick 5 at the 2025 AFLW Draft, was one of the most decorated players in her draft class, captaining the Under-18 All-Australian team and named Victoria Metro’s Most Valuable Player at the 2025 National Championships.

Defender Gorman joined the Crows at Pick 25 last year after enjoying a breakout year for Northern Knights in the Talent League where she averaged 25 disposals, 4.7 tackles and 5.9 clearances per game.

Western Australian product Kelly joined Adelaide in the pre-season as an injury replacement player, having set a WAFLW league record for most disposals with 48 touches in a single game playing for Claremont.

Mid-forward Egan, 26, arrived at the Crows having played 66 AFLW games for Carlton and Richmond since debuting in 2020. Known for her tackling pressure, Egan was voted into Adelaide’s leadership group during pre-season, evidence of the impact she has had both on and off the track since arriving this year.

Crows Executive General Manager AFLW Bree Brock said the Club was excited to debut the four players, who has each displayed hard-work, strong skills and a team-first attitude throughout pre-season.

“They’ve all worked really hard to earn their spots and we’re looking forward to seeing them thrill our fans this season,” she said.

“Chloe is a magnificent talent with sublime skills, who has really shone during our four practice games, while Liv has shown a defensive fight that we could not ignore when picking our team for Round One.

“Juliet has only been with our group for a short time since joining us in June, but she is such a hard worker in the midfield; she will provide excellent support for our more experienced midfielders.

“And Grace has put so much work into building relationships within the team, she’s become a real connector and great cultural fit for us. ”
