Adelaide has announced an extended squad of 24 for its season opener against Sydney at Unley Oval on Sunday. 

As confirmed on Thursday afternoon, the Crows’ team will feature three AFLW debutants in Chloe Bown, Olivia Gorman and Juliet Kelly, along with Club debutant Grace Egan. 

Ebony Marinoff will lead the side as the sole Captain for the first time, and headlines a new-look on-ball brigade that features the emerging Sarah Goodwin and debutant Kelly. 

Vice Captain Eloise Jones will line up on the half-back flank, after being deployed in defence throughout the pre-season.

Gorman, Sarah Allan, Chelsea Biddell and Niamh Kelly are the other players named in the back line. 

Irishwoman Kayleigh Cronin is listed to take one of the key posts up forward, after shifting from the backline this off-season.

She will be joined in attack by Bown, Egan, Caitlin Gould and Christina Leuzzi. 

The Crows have named an extended bench of eight, which will be trimmed to five when the final team is confirmed on Friday afternoon at 4.30pm (ACST).

The extended bench includes three uncapped players in Ava Stewart, Alice Tentye and Jemmika Douglas.

Teah Chartlon, Kiera Mueller, Amy Boyle-Carr, Brooke Tonon and Hannah Munyard make up the remainder of the extended bench.
