Adelaide ruck Reilly O’Brien and utility Blake Drury have been recognised for standout seasons with a place in the 2026 SANFL Team of the Year. 

The pair was consistently strong performers for the Crows throughout the 2026 campaign, and each earned selection in the competition’s most prestigious team for the first time.

O’Brien led the way in the ruck all season, as he featured in 16 matches and averaged an impressive 34.4 hit-outs, 18.1 disposals, 5.9 marks and 5.3 clearances per game. 

The 30-year-old takes his place in the ruck in the Team of the Year. 

Since joining the Club as a marquee SANFL recruit in 2024, Drury’s versatility has been a highlight, with the coaching staff utilising his skills in a number of different roles. 

This was apparent throughout the 2026 season, as he averaged 18.7 disposals per game and kicked 31 goals from his 18 matches. 

Drury has been selected on the half forward flank in the Team of the Year. 

Adelaide’s SANFL team finished the season in seventh spot, and ultimately missed out on the finals with a seven win and 11 loss record.
