Adelaide wing Niamh Kelly has received a Round Five Goal of the Year nomination for her third quarter running effort against Geelong at Unley Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Kelly produced the memorable moment midway through the third quarter, when she gathered the ball near the wing with space ahead of her.

She then used her speed to run past a number of Geelong defenders, take three bounces, steady and kick truly.

The major was a highlight of Kelly’s 75th AFLW game, as she recorded 10 disposals, three intercepts and 287 metres gained.
