First-year Crow Ava Stewart will make her AFLW debut when Adelaide takes on Richmond at IKON Park on Saturday night.
Stewart was selected with Pick No.63 at the 2025 AFLW Draft after impressing with Swan Districts in Western Australia.
The athletic tall utility is a versatile player, capable of impacting games at both ends of the ground, with her aerial strength and competitiveness among her standout attributes.
Adelaide Executive General Manager Women’s Football Bree Brock said the 19-year-old had earned her opportunity after continuing to develop throughout her first season at West Lakes.
“Ava has brought great energy to our group since arriving at the Club and has continued to build her game every week,” Brock said.
“She’s an athletic player who can impact in a variety of roles, and that versatility is something we’ve really valued.
“We’ve been pleased with the way she’s embraced the challenges of her first year with us and continued to look for ways to improve.
“Making your debut is a special milestone and we’re thrilled she gets the chance to experience that this weekend.”
Stewart will become the seventh Crow to make their League debut this season, following Chloe Bown, Olivia Gorman, Juliet Kelly (Round One), Jemmika Douglas (Round Two), Lucy Waye (Round Five) and Alice Tentye (Round Eight).
Grace Egan, meanwhile, made her Club debut in Round One and was set to line-up in her 75th AFLW game this weekend.
The Crows will name their final team on Thursday at 4.30pm (ACDT).
Adelaide faces Richmond at IKON Park on Saturday at 6.45pm.
The game will be broadcast live on 7Mate Adelaide, Fox Footy and Kayo.
