Eddie Betts could be on track for a fourth Goal of the Year win after his major from the boundary line was voted the AFL’s best of Round Five.

Betts received 82.5 per cent of fan votes, beating out second place Gary Ablett (9.5pc) and third place Brandon Matera (8pc).

In his 300th game, Betts booted six goals as the Crows ran away 73-point winners over Gold Coast at Adelaide Oval.

Lachlan Murphy joined Betts in success and was voted to have taken the best mark of Round Five.

Murphy finished with 45.2pc of the votes, narrowly beating out Ablett (40.pc) and Jake Melksham (13.9pc)

Both nominations and wins were the Crows’ first of 2019.
