Midfielder Bernie Vince led the way for the Crows in the Brownlow Medal count tonight, polling 13 votes.

Geelong’s Gary Ablett was the clear winner, receiving 30 votes to win by eight from Carlton’s Chris Judd. Third was St Kilda’s Lenny Hayes on 20.
Among the Crows, Vince polled two sets of best-on-ground votes in the last three rounds of the season to jump over Scott Thompson, who finished with 11 votes.
Other Crows to poll were Tyson Edwards, Andrew McLeod, Kurt Tippett (all seven); Michael Doughty, Simon Goodwin (six); Chris Knights (five), Nathan Bock, Jason Porplyzia (four), Richard Douglas, Andy Otten, Brent Reilly, Ben Rutten (three); and Taylor Walker (one).
