Woodville-West Torrens continued their impressive run in the SANFL with a win over Port Adelaide at Alberton on Saturday.

The Eagles only managed one goal in the first half but bounced back from a 21-point half-time deficit to win by 17 points. Jared Petrenko (24 possessions) starred for the Eagles and Andrew Ainger booted four goals.

State Under 18 squad member Will Snelling was West’s leading possession winner with 27 in its 34-point win over Central District on Sunday.

Small forward Josh Hone kicked five goals in Sturt’s 62-point win over North Adelaide. The margin was only two goals early in the third quarter before Sturt rattled on seven of the next eight goals.

Michael Newton booted five goals for Norwood in its 45-point win over Glenelg on Friday night.

South Adelaide’s fast start proved the difference in its 14-point win over Adelaide.
