The Crows are optimistic Brodie Smith will be fit to play in Saturday night’s Elimination Final.

Smith rolled his left ankle in the opening quarter of Adelaide’s clash with Geelong on the weekend and, was substituted out of the game.

The All Australian defender is wearing a moon boot to protect the joint, but Head of Football David Noble said Smith would endeavour to increase his training load later in the week.

“The initial forecast looks pretty optimistic that Brodie will be able to play this week, but we’ll monitor that as we go through the week,” Noble said.

Smith was the only injury reported in the Club’s loss to the Cats.
