The Adelaide Football Club is aware that midfielder Bernie Vince met with the Melbourne Football Club in Melbourne today.

Vince, 28, is a contracted player at West Lakes, but met with Demons officials at their request before he leaves for an overseas holiday next week.

General Manager of List Development and Strategy David Noble said Vince would meet with coach Brenton Sanderson, who has been overseas at a conference, over the weekend to discuss his future.

“A few clubs have expressed interest in Bernie during the trade period, and Bernie is exploring those options with his management,” Noble said.

“We respect Bernie’s decision to do so and will maintain open dialogue with he and his management.”
