Crows forward Taylor Walker is set to add valuable experience to Adelaide’s forward line in Monday’s night clash with St Kilda.

Walker missed his side’s Round Six loss to West Coast, a game in which the Crows started with four of their six forwards possessing six or fewer games of AFL experience.

The 194-game veteran has overcome a knee issue to be named at centre half-forward, replacing Billy Frampton who has been omitted.

Coach Matthew Nicks will be forced to make at least one more change, with five inclusions in the mix to replace injured captain Rory Sloane.

Bryce Gibbs, Paul Seedsman, Elliott Himmelberg, Ben Davis and Kieran Strachan have all been named on an extended interchange.

Tom Doedee will lead the Crows out onto Adelaide Oval after being appointed stand-in captain on Friday afternoon.

Adelaide’s final team will be announced on Saturday at 3.30pm (ACST) after the Club’s main training session.

The first bounce of Monday night’s game is set for 7.10pm (ACST) with the game to be broadcast live on Fox Footy and 7mate in Adelaide.

Adelaide’s Round Seven squad is…

IN: Gibbs, Seedsman, Walker, Himmelberg, Davis, Strachan
OUT: Sloane (hand), Frampton
