Adelaide has recalled Kris Massie for Saturday afternoon's top-of-the-table clash against West Coast at Subiaco Oval.Massie has played just one match this season - against the Western Bulldogs in round five - but returns on the eve of Adelaide's 2005 finals campaign. But the Crows have lost high-flying midfielder/forward Brett Burton, who is expected to miss a week with a strained hip muscle. The Crows have named three first-year players as their emergencies - Nathan van Berlo, Ivan Maric and Chris Knights.West Coast will welcome back four crucial players to its line-up - Michael Gardiner, David Wirrpunda, Phil Matera and Andrew Embley.Gardiner is set to play just his ninth match for the season, as hamstring, knee and foot injuries - along with a two-match suspension - have interrupted his year.Embley is also back after a seven-match stint on the sidelines because of a foot injury, while Matera has missed the past two matches with a groin complaint. Wirrpunda was absent last round due to a family bereavement. The Eagles have dropped Kasey Green, Rowan Jones, Mitch Morton and Brett Jones, who will miss his first match of the season, unless he is a late call-up, now that he is one of three emergencies. R.Jones and Jaymie Graham join B.Jones in that role.WEST COAST v ADELAIDESaturday, 2:10pm AWST, Subiaco OvalWEST COASTB: Wirrpunda, Glass, HunterHB: Chick, Staker, BanfieldC: Embley, Cousins, BraunHF: Nicoski, Hansen, KerrF: Matera, Lynch, SeabyFOLL: Cox, Judd, FletcherI/C: Gardiner, Sampi, Selwood, StengleinEMG: Graham, B.Jones, R.JonesIN: Gardiner, Wirrpunda, Matera, EmbleyOUT: Green, R.Jones, B.Jones, MortonADELAIDEB: Bassett, Rutten, McGregorHB: Hart, Bock, DoughtyC: Reilly, Goodwin, MattnerHF: Edwards, Hentschel, McLeodF: Thompson, Welsh, PerrieFOLL: Biglands, Shirley, RicciutoI/C: Massie, Clarke, Skipworth, JohncockEMG: van Berlo, Maric, KnightsIN: MassieOUT: Burton (strained hip muscle)
