As I write this, I confess to reminiscing about the year that’s been, what could have been, and how very proud our boys made us both on and off the field.Still I look forward to 2007 with great excitement, expectation and a little trepidation knowing our need to fulfil our promise of a grand final berth. With this in mind, I invite you to join our Foodland ‘Birds of a Feather’ ladies group for the year 2007.Existing members will be receiving a renewal letter shortly however if you are not a member already, please call Ann at the Club on 84406625 and she will be only too happy to take your details and send out an application form. This year, we had the delightful talents of Matthew Clarke and Scott Welsh as our Ambassadors – thank you for all your efforts. Next year heralds changes for the Club and to us and we welcome Michael Doughty and Graham Johncock aboard. They had such a great time at our dinner and are very excited about joining us next year.Look forward to catching up with you all again in the New Year.Take care,Eve GoodingsPatron – Foodland ‘Birds of a Feather’
