Adelaide's champion on-baller Simon Goodwin remains eligible to win this year's Brownlow Medal after being cleared over two separate incidents by the AFL's match review panel on Monday.

Goodwin, the second favourite for this year's Brownlow Medal behind Eagles' skipper Chris Judd, had been under scrutiny over a clash with Hawthorn ruckman Peter Everitt, after the Hawks had claimed Everitt was "stomped on" by Goodwin.

Everitt was forced to leave the field following the third term clash with an injured foot but the AFL could find no video footage of the incident.

Not only that but after studying footage of the lead-up and aftermath to the alleged clash, it could not find any evidence of Goodwin being near Everitt at any stage.

The panel also cleared Goodwin over a collision with Clinton Young during the final quarter, ruling the incident was not reportable as he made contact with Young's back rather than his head.
