Star Crows players Brett Burton and Scott Thompson took time out from their gruelling pre-season training program to wrap toys for the 'Doing it for the Kids Christmas Appeal'.The Crows are encouraging the South Australian community to donate presents to children confined to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital over Christmas.“It’s just a great cause,” Burton said. “Toyota have been kind enough to provide a venue for people to support the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.“If anyone wants to donate a Christmas present, whether it be big or small, they can wrap it up and put it under a Christmas tree at any (metropolitan) Toyota outlet.”Adelaide Football Club major partner Toyota are placing their full support behind the appeal, putting up Christmas trees in all metropolitan dealerships.The public are encouraged to place donated presents under the trees at the Toyota dealerships during the month of December up until close of business on December 19.There will also be a Christmas tree at Adelaide Oval for Sunday’s Twenty20 clash between Roo’s XI and Boof’s XI, which will be situated between the Bradman Stand and the George Giffen Stand from 3-8pm.Adelaide Crows players and coaching staff, along with Camry Crow, will deliver the presents to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital on Thursday, December 21.
