Adelaide has made five changes for Tuesday night’s clash with Collingwood at Adelaide Oval.

Brodie Smith has been named on a wing after he was a late withdrawal from the Crows’ Round 10 side against Melbourne last Wednesday.

“It’ll be good to have Smithers getting back and into the form we’re after,” coach Matthew Nicks told reporters at West Lakes on Monday morning.

“He’ll play a number of different roles. We might have a look at him across half-back at a point, maybe back in the midfield depending on how we’re going.”

The four Crows who were managed in Round 10 - Kyle Hartigan, Shane McAdam, Andrew McPherson and Tyson Stengle – have all been recalled to face the Magpies.

Nicks confirmed Hartigan will be a direct replacement for Daniel Talia in a key defensive post, with Talia to be managed this week.

“Talia will be managed. He’s just got some general soreness so we’ll make sure we get that one right,” Nicks said.

“He’s done what he can to get up, but the smart call is to not risk him.”

Young defender Will Hamill has been left out after sustaining his second concussion of the season against Melbourne, while small forward Lachlan Murphy will miss due to suspension.

Second-year Crow Chayce Jones and defender Jake Kelly have been omitted.

Tuesday night’s home game will mark Tom Lynch’s 150th AFL appearance, with first bounce set for 6.05pm ACST. It will be shown live nationwide on Fox Footy and 7mate in Adelaide.
