Adelaide forward Tyson Stengle will be a Crow until at least the end of 2022 after signing a two-year contract extension.

Stengle, 21, has played seven games so far in 2020 to bring his career tally to 11.

His strong goal sense has come to the fore in recent weeks, highlighted by two first-quarter majors against Collingwood to go with two goal assists.

Stengle received Goal of the Year nomination this week for a classy snap in the Round 12 loss to the Western Bulldogs.

Crows General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said Stengle was an important cog in Adelaide’s developing forward line.

“It’s a great result to have Tyson recommit for two more years,” Reid said.

“Tyson has showed he has the talent to play at the highest level and he will be an important part of our forward structure as we continue to develop our list.”

“He always looks dangerous around goals, particularly at ground level, and the defensive pressure he brings inside forward 50 is exactly what we want from him each week.”

Stengle was selected by Richmond with pick No.6 in the 2017 rookie draft, playing two games for the Tigers before returning home to South Australia at the end of 2018.
