Adelaide is committed to taking Greater Western Sydney midfielder Jackson Hately in December’s pre-season draft.

The Crows could not reach an agreement with the Giants prior to the end of the AFL Trade Period on Thursday evening.

Crows General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said Hately remains committed to wearing the tricolours next season.

“Jackson wants to be at the Crows in 2021 and given we have the first pick in the pre-season draft, we will be able to make this happen," Reid said.

The pre-season draft is currently scheduled for Thursday, December 10.
