Adelaide is celebrating its heritage with a new look guernsey to be worn throughout Season 2021.

The design features the names of all players to have worn the Crows jumper over the past 30 seasons.

From inaugural captain Chris McDermott to the Club’s most recent debutant Jordon Butts, 238 players are listed in chronological order.

The names will appear on the traditional home jumper, which is famous for its tri-colour hoops, as well as the alternate gold coloured clash strip.

Crows CEO Andrew Fagan said it was a fitting way to pay tribute to the many players who had contributed greatly to the Club.

“Not only does it honour the guys who have pulled on the jumper in years passed but it helps forge a bond with our current generation,” Fagan said.

“The jumper is symbolic of what our Club stands for and is important to everyone in the Crows family, especially our members and fans.”

The home guernsey will continue to be reserved for matches for premiership points and finals, while the alternative strip will be worn in all other preseason and trial games.

The new look jumper has been produced by apparel partner O’Neills, which has developed and sourced a range of innovative performance fabrics for use across Adelaide’s AFL clothing range.

It includes cutting edge nano-technology and anti-bacterial properties which move moisture away from the body, assist with thermal regulation and add a light compression stretch.

The 2021 guernsey and supporters clothing range is now open via https://shop.afc.com.au.

Orders must be made online before Thursday 10 December to ensure delivery before Christmas.

The full range will be available instore at CROWmania at West Lakes from Monday 7 December.
