Adelaide currently holds selections 1, 9, 22, 23, 40 and 80 in the 2020 AFL draft, with the Club expecting to take five live picks into next Wednesday’s event.
Crows national recruiting manager Hamish Ogilvie believes the Crows’ draft hand will provide flexibility with any pick swap opportunities that arise on the night.
“We’re actively looking at all those options; to go back (in the draft order), to go up, to go into the future. We’re having ongoing discussions with other clubs about that,” Ogilvie told AFC Media.
“I don’t think they’ll be a hell of a lot from now until the draft - we’ve spoken to some clubs and they’ve said they’ll look at it on the night, but not now.”

AFL clubs normally have to select a minimum of three players at the national draft, but rules have been changed in 2020 to allow clubs to use just one pick.
Experts are tipping there are likely to be approximately 50 players selected at this year’s draft, down from the 65 names called in 2019.
“It’s going to be the least amount of picks we’ve seen in a long, long time,” Ogilvie said.
With a lack of underage footy in 2020, late bloomers in the mould of a Harry Schoenberg or Jack Macrae haven’t been able to put their names up in lights for recruiters to take notice.
Many clubs, including the Crows, are set to keep list spots open in order to take some of the best talents overlooked in this year’s draft.
“If you look at a guy like Harry, or Jackson Macrae who wasn’t even playing NAB League in his 17th year, there will be some of those players next year,” Ogilvie said.
“We’ve got an eye to that.”
The 2020 AFL Draft will take place on Wednesday, December 9.
