Position: Tall forward/ruck
DOB: 7/7/2002

BIO:

An incredibly versatile and athletic tall, Thilthorpe is a highly promising forward/ruckman who has already played 15 senior games for West Adelaide over the past two years.

Standing 200cm tall and approximately 100 kilograms, Thilthorpe is suited to the modern game and has shown an ability to adapt to multiple roles – whether playing as a marking target up forward or as a mobile ruckman who can cover the ground.

The highly driven 18-year-old has also spent time on a wing given he is equally impressive at ground level for a player his size as he is aerially with his reach and overhead marking.

Thilthorpe made his State League debut for the Bloods a few days after turning 17, showing his class with three goals in just his second senior game against Sturt.

The South Australian backed up that performance with 15 disposals, eight marks and two goals the following week against Central District.

He also impressed at last year’s NAB AFL Futures match on Grand Final Day with his overhead marking, agility and repeat efforts all part of his arsenal.

A lifelong Crows fan, Thilthorpe grew up playing ice hockey, representing SA until under-12 level, with his father Ben a former Australian ice hockey player.
