Adelaide midfielder Ebony Marinoff has been charged for engaging in forceful front-on contact in Sunday's AFLW trial game against Greater Western Sydney.

The AFLW Match Review has referred Marinoff directly to the Tribunal for the final quarter incident involving Giants recruit Brid Stack.

Ebony Marinoff, Adelaide Crows, has been charged with Forceful Front-On Contact against Brid Stack, GWS GIANTS, during the fourth quarter of the AFLW Pre-Season Practice Match  between the Adelaide Crows and the GWS GIANTS, played at Norwood Oval on Sunday January 17.
 
In summary, she has been referred directly to the Tribunal and cannot accept an early plea.
