Two Crows have polled coaches’ votes in Adelaide’s Round Five loss to Fremantle.

Stand-in captain Tom Doedee earned three votes for his defensive role, finishing with 23 disposals, seven intercepts and seven rebound 50s.

Midfielder Rory Laird received two votes, collecting 29 disposals, seven tackles and seven clearances, including a game-high six centre clearances.

Fremantle All Australian defender Luke Ryan and veteran midfielder David Mundy shared top honours, each receiving nine votes from the coaches.

Mundy’s performance sees him pull level with Taylor Walker on the AFL Coaches Association’s Champion Player Award leaderboard, with the pair sitting equal second behind Melbourne’s Max Gawn.
