Last year’s No.2 draft pick, Riley Thilthorpe, is set to make his AFL debut in Sunday’s clash with Hawthorn at UTAS Stadium.

Senior coach Matthew Nicks announced Thilthorpe’s inclusion at a team meeting at West Lakes on Friday morning.

The 201cm, 100kg forward burst onto the scene in his first competitive appearance for the Crows, booting four goals in the Club’s opening SANFL trial match against Port Adelaide.

He was part of Adelaide’s AFL Community Series squad the following week, coming onto the ground in the second half of the Crows’ 71-point defeat.

The 18-year-old will become the fourth Adelaide player to make his AFL debut this year, following James Rowe, Sam Berry and Nick Murray.

Adelaide’s full Round Six team will be announced at 5.50pm ACST on Saturday.
