Adelaide Captain Chelsea Randall has signed a contract extension which will keep her at West Lakes until at least 2023.

The two-time Premiership co-captain has played 32 games for the Club since her debut in 2017 and earned All Australian honours on three occasions during that time.

Reflecting on her AFLW journey, Randall said she was extremely proud to be a Crow for another two years.

“This Club has been my home for the last five years and I am so thrilled to be signing on again with my Crows family,” Randall said.

“I am so incredibly proud of what we have achieved and built so far and I look forward to the next chapter alongside my mates and the amazing staff.

“The young talent coming through the system is exciting and shows the great depth we have here in South Australia.”

Joining Randall in signing contract extensions are Hannah Button, Chelsea Biddell, Ailish Considine, Dayna Cox, Madison Newman, Marijana Rajcic and Ashleigh Woodland.

Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said the signing spree reflected the strength of the culture and team-first approach that had been created at West Lakes.

“It is fitting that Chelsea was our first signing in this official period because she has always led our team from the front,” Harper said.

“She has played a key role in developing the strong culture within the women’s program today.

“All of the players who have re-signed today are integral to where this team is heading, and we appreciate and respect their continued loyalty.”
