SA Health has granted approval for a crowd to attend Showdown 50 in a reduced capacity at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

In line with Covid-19 protocol, attendance will be capped at 15,000.

The Club will communicate directly with all Members on Tuesday night in regards to ticketing and game access as it relates to different membership categories.

Seats in the stadium will be separated by two empty rows to maintain social distancing.

Crows Members attending the game must arrive at the ground after 6.10pm and enter via designated lanes.

Fans must wear a mask at all times and in all areas, except when eating and drinking which must be done while seated.

All post-game activities are cancelled.

Crows CEO Tim Silvers said having a crowd at Showdown 50 was testament to the way in which South Australia had handled the pandemic.

“Any game we can play in front of our Members is always going to be welcomed and much appreciated,” Silvers said.

“In a perfect world we would like to have a full house so as many of our supporters can attend but we obviously understand and support the measures that have been put in place to keep everyone safe.

“We also acknowledge this situation will not cater for all of our passionate Members and we trust they will be understanding given these uncertain and challenging times.”
