Adelaide signed Cotton as a Category B rookie following the 2025 AFL season. The 194cm highly talented basketballer has represented Australia at multiple junior levels, including Under 16s where he won gold at the FIBA Asian Championship in 2023. His father Jarrod, a member of Port Adelaide’s inaugural squad in 1997, spent the bulk of his playing days in the SANFL before transitioning into coaching.
