Patrick Wilson
Adelaide’s first selection in the 2017 Rookie Draft, Patrick Wilson was a key part of Sturt’s SANFL premiership prior to being drafted. He missed their 2016 triumph due to a shoulder injury but bounded back as one of the league’s best. He was named in the SANFL Team of the Year and was selected as a mature-age player who was ready-made for the AFL. He led the SANFL Crows during his first season at the Club in 2018, dominating the midfield and winning the Crows State League Club Champion award, as well as making his AFL Debut in Round 13 against Hawthorn. He played another senior game in 2019 against Gold Coast in Round 17, and claimed back-to-back State League Club Champion awards.
