Adelaide snapped up Jones at pick No.9 ahead of the 2019 season. The midfielder forced his way into the Crows’ Round One side as a small forward on the back of impressive form in the pre-season competition. Jones then took out the Mark Bickley Emerging Talent Award as the Crows’ best young player in his debut year. Since being drafted, Jones has showed his versatility and in 2023 cemented his spot on the wing with his hard running, attack on the footy and ability to finish in front of goal. It was rewarded with a three-year contract extension, through to the end of 2026.
