A strongly built midfielder/forward, Pedlar is a hard-working contested ball winner who can also burst from a stoppage. The South Australian overcame a shoulder reconstruction to play some influential games in 2020 both at Glenelg in the under-18 competition and with Prince Alfred College, where he was the captain. Pedlar hails from the town of Kingston, approximately 240 kilometres southeast of Adelaide. The Crows selected Pedlar at the 2020 AFL National Draft. After managing five games across his first two seasons due to injuries, Pedlar enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2023, playing 21 games, averaging 11.9 disposals, 3.4 marks and 2.6 tackles per game - while also booting 25 majors and claiming a Rising Star nomination in Round 16.
