A dashing winger who is skilful on both sides of the body, Adelaide swooped on Deni Varnhagen with pick No.26 in the 2016 AFL Women’s Draft. Varnhagen played every one of Adelaide’s games in the first three years, including the two Premierships. She won the Club’s best defensive player award in the 2019 Premiership year. Varnhagen recently welcomed her first child and returns to the Crows after two seasons on the inactive list.
