After a solid first two years at the Crows, Hatchard had a massive off-season before the 2019 competition and moved into the midfield from the backline. That move changed her game, having a breakout year and securing All Australian selection. She again took her game to the next level in 2020, winning the Crows Club Champion for the first time, earning All Australian honours again and breaking the record for the most disposals in a game (35, Round One).
